Two pack polyurethane is a catalysed coating. It cures hard, it wipes clean, and it holds its colour under kitchen light. Sprayed properly, it leaves no brush marks and no roller texture, only the surface.

Replace

Quote and colour
We come out, measure the fronts, check what the existing surface is and whether it will take a coating. You choose the colour and the sheen, and the quote is fixed to that scope.
Removal and preparation
Doors and drawer fronts come off. Hinges and handles are bagged and labelled by position. Every face is filled, de-greased and sanded back to a key the coating can hold.
Masking and containment
Anything staying in the house gets masked. Floors are covered, benchtops are sealed, and the work zone is closed off so dust stays in one room instead of travelling through the house.
Primer and topcoats
An adhesion primer goes on first, then two pack polyurethane in built coats, flashed off between each one. Spraying the fronts off site means no overspray and a cleaner cure.
Cure and refit
The coating cures hard before anything is handled. Fronts go back on their own hinges, every door is adjusted square, and we walk the job with you before we leave.

What actually happens in your house.
The part most people worry about is not the colour. It is the mess, the noise and how long the kitchen is unusable. This is how the job is run.
Quote and colour
We measure the fronts and check the substrate. Melamine, laminate, timber, MDF and previously coated surfaces all behave differently, and some need a different primer. You pick the colour and sheen, and we quote to that scope in writing.
Removal and preparation
Doors and drawer fronts are taken off and numbered so every piece returns to the opening it came from. Hinges, handles and screws are bagged by position. Faces are filled where needed, de-greased, then sanded to a key so the primer has something to hold.
Masking and containment
Anything staying in the house is masked to a hard edge. Benchtops and splashbacks are sealed, floors are covered from the work zone to the front door, and the room is closed off. Fixed carcasses are sprayed in place behind that containment.

An adhesion primer goes down first, then two pack polyurethane in built coats with flash off time between them. Removable fronts are sprayed off site in the workshop, which keeps overspray out of the house and gives the coating a cleaner environment to cure in.
Cure and refit
Two pack keeps hardening after it is dry to touch, so fronts are left to cure before anyone handles them. They go back on their original hinges, every door is adjusted until the gaps are even, and we walk the finished job with you before we pack up.
The practical answers.
For most of the job, yes. The fronts are off and away, so the sink, the oven and the fridge stay connected. The days when fixed carcasses are being sprayed are the days the room is closed.
Two pack polyurethane is catalysed, so it cures by chemical reaction rather than by drying. That is what makes it harder and more washable than a standard interior enamel.
Spraying the removable fronts off site keeps most of it out of the house. Work done in place is done behind containment with extraction, and the room is ventilated before it goes back into use.

HN Coatings
A spray finishing business in south west Sydney, applying two pack polyurethane to kitchens, cabinetry and interior joinery.
The business was established in 2024 and trades as Hoang Ninh Pty Ltd. It works across Greater Sydney from a base in Bankstown, for homeowners refinishing a kitchen and for cabinet makers who need spray finishing done properly.
Coatings work is unforgiving. A finish shows every shortcut taken before it went on: the fill that was not flat, the surface that was not clean, the coat that was rushed. That is why most of the job is preparation, and why the fronts come back to a workshop instead of being sprayed over a drop sheet in a driveway.

Four things we do not move on.
A coating is only as good as the surface under it. If a face is not ready, it does not get sprayed that day.
Containment, covered floors and a clean site at the end of each day. The work zone is sealed so the rest of the house is unaffected.
The quote covers what was measured. If something is found behind a panel, you hear about it before any extra work happens.
The owners run the jobs. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor you have never met.
